The Netherlands and the UK are both among the frontrunners in quantum technology. Through TechBridge, both countries are bringing together businesses and research institutions to bring the next generation of quantum computers and quantum networks a step closer to reality. Are you planning to submit an application, or are you still exploring the options? Then, in just one hour, you’ll gain a comprehensive overview of the call for proposals, the requirements and the procedure, with the opportunity to ask the organisers your questions directly.
Who is it for?
The session is aimed at Dutch entrepreneurs and researchers in the quantum sector who wish to collaborate with UK partners. The call for proposals focuses on innovative R&D projects within four themes:
quantum networks based on entanglement, with software or hardware solutions that enable commercial applications;
quantum algorithms, software applications and hybrid workflows;
quantum sensing and imaging for commercial applications, for example in the life sciences, healthcare and public infrastructure;
industrial production and assembly of hardware such as detectors, control electronics, lasers and optical systems, and vacuum and cryogenic systems.
Programme
Three organisations will guide you through the call for proposals:
Innovate UK explains the scope and eligibility criteria of the call.
QDNL provides an overview of the Dutch quantum ecosystem.
RVO explains the TechBridge programme, the Dutch eligibility criteria and how to submit an application.
You’ll round off with a Q&A.
