Exploring Attacks, Countermeasures and Eavesdropping on Quantum Key
Quantum security is a complex endeavour. QNU develops quantum key distribution hardware to ensure that data can remain secure after quantum computers gain the ability to break encryption. In this project we will attempt to find any vulnerabilities, hard- and software to enable the development of truly secure solutions.
Approach
In this project we will develop a plan of attack, followed by building special equipment to attempt to intercept quantum keys. Simultaneously we will attempt to break the encryption using vulnerabilities elsewhere in the implementation. This will provide the tools to develop truly secure quantum key distribution products.
