Bridging the gap between System Models and A3 Architecture Overviews
Systems Engineering is a crucial discipline for the Dutch High-Tech industry. Systems Engineers use on the one hand visual representations to capture the system architecture and to reason about it. On the other hand a system architecture needs to be formally modelled, and based on elements and items of a company’s information infrastructure.
These two worlds – the visually rich representations, versus the formal model – are still largely disconnected today. This project aims to build a bridge between these by embedding logical and linking information in the visual and accessible A3 Architecture Overviews.
