Quantum Technologies

Quantum technology is one of the key priorities for the Netherlands and for the Ministry of Defence. It can offer a decisive advantage in military operations. Think of ultra-sensitive sensors to detect submarines and quantum computing power. In other sectors, such as the medical sector, quantum technology may also lead to breakthroughs in the future.

Collaboration

The TQC forms part of NATO’s quantum strategy and focuses on connecting governments with research institutions and the private sector. The aim is to promote the exchange of knowledge, better coordinate quantum activities among allies and encourage joint innovation.
