Through the KIEM HighTech Call, the Taskforce for Applied Research (regieorgaan SIA) and Holland High Tech are promoting short-term, practice-oriented research based on specific innovation questions raised by SMEs. SME innovation

Through KIEM HighTech, Holland High Tech and regierorgaan SIA facilitate short-term, practice-oriented research. The scheme is accessible: a maximum of €40,000 is available per project for a one-year research programme. Research organisations (universities of applied sciences, universities and other knowledge institutions) must submit the application together with at least one SME partner.

A project is eligible if it contributes to the development or improvement of technology within at least one of the ten innovation domains of Holland High Tech. Approved projects are therefore also aligned with the prioritised key technologies set out in the National Technology Strategy (NTS) and the Knowledge and Innovation Agenda for Key Technologies. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
