The healthcare sector is under pressure. Costs are rising, demand for care is growing and staff shortages remain a persistent problem. At the same time, technological and social innovations are advancing at breakneck speed. To capitalise on these opportunities, research, technology, education and healthcare practice must come together. The TechMed Event is precisely that meeting place. You’ll get a first glimpse of the hospital of the future, meet the people who are building it, and discover how you can contribute.
For whom
The event is aimed at anyone working on the future of healthcare: doctors and other healthcare professionals, scientists, entrepreneurs, investors and young talent. Are you involved in medtech or health tech and looking for new partnerships, knowledge or inspiration? If so, you’ll find a wide network of experts from various sectors here.
Programme
The day’s programme is organised around three tracks, allowing you to put together your own itinerary for the day:
Plenary programme featuring an opening show, an interactive keynote to round off the event, and an awards ceremony.
Nine Inspiration Sessions featuring talks, panels and hands-on sessions on themes that will shape the hospital of the future.
MedTech Innovation Forum featuring the Experience Centre, where organisations showcase their latest innovations through live demos and working prototypes. In the Talent Area, PhD and Master’s students present their ongoing research.
There will also be plenty of opportunity to network, including during lunch and the closing drinks reception. You’ll also be able to take a look around the TechMed Centre’s facilities.
