The SIA conference is the premier annual gathering for the world of practice-oriented research at universities of applied sciences. Around 500 participants come together to exchange knowledge, keep abreast of new developments and network. The focus is on what makes a knowledge ecosystem effective, how different parties can strengthen one another within it, and what role practice-oriented research can play now and in the future. For the high-tech sector, where collaboration between knowledge institutions and businesses forms the basis for innovation, this is a familiar and relevant issue.
For whom
The conference is aimed at anyone involved in or interested in practice-oriented research at universities of applied sciences. This includes lecturers, researchers and teaching staff, as well as professionals from the business sector, policymakers and representatives of civil society organisations who collaborate with universities of applied sciences or wish to do so.
Programme
The programme offers a mix of inspiring speakers, live interviews, up-to-date real-world examples and interactive breakout sessions. There will also be plenty of opportunity to network and meet both familiar and new contacts.
