For over a hundred years, NLR has been an applied research organisation working towards a more sustainable, safer and more efficient aerospace sector. Together with governments and international companies, the centre develops innovative solutions and technical expertise. In Amsterdam and Marknesse, NLR has state-of-the-art research facilities, field labs, simulators and wind tunnels. The Photonics Action Day offers a unique opportunity to take a look behind the scenes, explore opportunities for collaboration and meet colleagues from the Dutch photonics sector.
Who is it for?
The event is exclusively for the PhotonicsNL community: members and professionals from the Dutch photonics sector who are interested in applications within the aerospace industry and in collaboration with NLR.
Programme
The day begins at 11.00 am with a welcome lunch. From 12.30 pm, there will be an introduction by PhotonicsNL and NLR, during which new PhotonicsNL members will also introduce themselves. You will then be introduced to NLR’s technology, expertise and opportunities for collaboration. After a break, participants will work together in a brainstorming session. The afternoon will conclude with drinks from 5.00 pm to 6.00 pm.
