NEDS offers a comprehensive overview of the latest products, solutions and technologies across all areas of defence and security: land, air, space, maritime and cyber. Last year, the exhibition attracted more than 4,500 visitors, 200 exhibitors and 30 international delegations, resulting in several contracts being signed. Ahead of the exhibition, on 18 November, NIDV, in collaboration with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), is organising an international matchmaking day, focused on cooperation within the European Defence Fund and on establishing contacts with non-European parties, including US OEMs.
For whom
NEDS is of interest to companies, research institutions and government organisations that are active, or wish to become active, in the defence and security sector, ranging from large OEMs to innovative SMEs and start-ups. The exhibition is also relevant for organisations involved in sensor technology, unmanned systems, cyber security or space systems. Furthermore, NEDS provides a valuable opportunity for official foreign delegations to engage with Dutch decision-makers and exhibitors.
Programme
The exhibition hall will be open on 19 November from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm. In the morning, there will be a plenary session from 10.00 to 11.00, focusing on the importance of cooperation between government and industry, with various speakers taking the floor. The detailed programme and list of speakers for 2026 will be announced by NIDV later this year.
