The Thematic Working Group on Security is a partnership in which senior management from Avans University of Applied Sciences, Saxion and The Hague University of Applied Sciences, together with the Police Academy, the Netherlands Defence Academy (NLDA) and the Netherlands Institute for Public Safety (NIPV), coordinate education, practical research and policy within the field of security. In doing so, the Thematic Group works closely with the Security Lecturers’ Platform, SIA and platforms such as City and Neighbourhood, Care and Security, Future-Ready Governance and PRIO.
For who
The workshop is aimed at researchers, lecturers, policymakers and funders working in the fields of safety, resilience and the link between practice-oriented research and policy. The event is also relevant to those wishing to contribute to a joint higher professional education research proposal on this theme.
