The food industry must continually improve in terms of quality, efficiency, food safety and sustainability. Photonics offers new ways to measure, inspect, monitor and control processes. The afternoon will focus on mutual exchange: what can photonics offer food companies, and what new applications might be inspired by the challenges facing the food industry? The aim is to move from discussion to concrete opportunities for co-development and collaboration. This is not a product showcase.
Who is it for?
The afternoon session will be of interest to food companies looking to improve a process or tackle a measurement challenge they are currently facing, to photonics companies wishing to find out where their technology might find a new application or customer, and to machine manufacturers looking to incorporate photonics into future machines and production lines.
