ERF is the premier annual gathering for the European robotics community and takes place in a different European city each year. This year’s event is being held in Birmingham, a region with a long industrial tradition. The city is home to a rapidly developing robotics and automation sector, with strong academic research and a vibrant network of SMEs and international players. Over three days packed with workshops, keynote speeches and networking opportunities, the focus will be on how robotics and AI contribute to Europe’s competitiveness, sustainability and growth. For anyone working in robotics, ERF is the place to see what’s happening, share knowledge and find new partners.

ERF2027 is aimed at anyone working on or with robotics and AI. This includes researchers, developers, companies that use or supply robotics, start-ups, policymakers and innovation managers. Students and PhD candidates are also welcome, for example through the academic track and the awards.
