Cleanliness in the supply chain: from awareness to control

25 August 2026, 14:00 - 19:00

At this free knowledge and networking event organised by Mikrocentrum, taking place on 25 August 2026 in Veldhoven, four specialists will guide you from awareness to effective control of cleanliness throughout the supply chain. How do you maintain industrial cleanliness in an increasingly complex supply chain? You supply demanding customers in the semiconductor and high-tech sectors, so you invest in a cleanroom here and a cleaning line there. But do you know exactly where contamination arises in your process, which parameters really matter, and whether that investment solves the problem or merely treats the symptom? Major players such as ASML and Thermo Fisher see this regularly: suppliers making substantial investments without having the basics in place, resulting in excessive cleaning, over-investment and, despite this, ongoing quality issues.

This event is organised in collaboration with ASML, Thermo Fisher Scientific, NTS Group and Omneo.

For whom

This programme is of interest to anyone in the high-tech and manufacturing sectors who deals with cleanliness requirements in the supply chain: process engineers, quality managers and suppliers who supply demanding customers in the semiconductor and high-tech sectors, and who wish to get to grips with the root causes of contamination rather than merely addressing the symptoms.

Programme

The afternoon session focuses on process thinking as a practical framework for the workplace. The speakers begin with the question that really matters: what does it cost you if your process is not under control? They then demonstrate how requirements determine the process design, and conclude with the critical ‘cleanliness’ parameters: where do the real risks lie and how do you measure them?
