World of Industry, Technology & Science 2026

22 September (09:30) - 25 September (15:30)

From 22 to 25 September 2026, the World of Industry, Technology & Science (WoTS) will take place at Jaarbeurs Utrecht. This trade fair is organised by FHI, the federation of technology sectors, in collaboration with its partners Feda and Machevo & Bulk. WoTS brings three worlds together: the World of Industry, the World of Electronics and the World of Laboratory. Over four days, it offers professionals from the technology sector insights into the latest developments in the fields of industrial automation, electronics and laboratory technology.

External event

WoTS has been the premier meeting place for the Dutch and Benelux technology sector for decades: this year, organiser FHI is even celebrating the 70th anniversary of the trade fair concept, which once began as ‘Het Instrument’. As well as an extensive exhibition floor featuring exhibitors from these three sectors, there will be opportunities for knowledge-sharing through seminars and workshops; the High Tech Trophy will be awarded for the most innovative entry; and AI expert Jarno Duursma will deliver a keynote speech on the accelerating pace of AI developments. For anyone wishing to keep their finger on the pulse of the latest developments in industry, electronics and laboratory technology, a visit to WoTS is an efficient way to learn a great deal in a short space of time.

For whom

WoTS is of interest to anyone working professionally in industrial automation, industrial electronics, building automation or laboratory technology: from procurement professionals and engineers to R&D professionals, production managers and early-career professionals looking to explore their next career move.

Programme

The programme for each sector (Industry, Electronics, Laboratory) consists of seminars on the latest technological innovations and practical workshops. In addition, there are recurring features such as the High Tech Trophy awards, a careers café offering career coaching and a LinkedIn photographer, and collectable exhibition gadgets for each sector. One highlight of the programme is Jarno Duursma’s keynote speech on the accelerating pace of AI developments.
