Complex societal challenges? Technology offers a solution! As one of the top sectors, Holland High Tech ensures economic and social results. Our key technologies are essential in this.
How we help
We connect, we activate and we organise. As the driving force behind a large number of solutions in technology and innovation, we ensure that all links in the chain can function optimally. Holland High Tech is your critical friend in the tech sector. We apply pressure where necessary. We help keep the ecosystem healthy. We work mission-driven and can therefore fully focus on Holland High Tech as a positive force in society.
Student, minister, researcher or manager: we ensure that people choose tech. Human capital is always high on our agenda. Holland High Tech scales up and inspires. Technology works for all of us. Success does not come from one party: we create a positive, integral impact with technology and innovation together.
VISION 2030
As Holland High Tech, we look to the future: to the urgent transitions, the innovations that contribute to them, and our role in this as a hightech sector. We do this together with stakeholders from our ecosystem: leaders from the business community, knowledge institutions, training courses, and the government. Read about our joint ambitions and lines of action.
Public Private Partnerships
Are you looking for financing for innovation, research & development? If you, as a company or research institution, want to collaborate on research and development, you can participate in a Public-Private Partnership programme from Holland High Tech. Here you can read what schemes are available and how you as a knowledge institution, company, or (semi) government qualify for them.
Calls
Calls stimulate interdisciplinary research for groundbreaking innovative solutions with social and economic impact. Calls bring companies and knowledge institutions together and finance groundbreaking research based on impactful research proposals. We organise our own calls and those with (inter)national partner organisations.
Stimulating innovation for SMEs
To remain at the top, SMEs need to continue to innovate. The government agrees with this, which is why the SME innovation incentive scheme for the Region and Top Sectors has been set up. The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) offers various instruments for this. Here you will find all current options, via Holland High Tech (TKI HTSM) or directly via RVO.
Knowledge and Innovation Agenda Key Enabling Technologies
Key Enabling Technologies are essential in solving societal challenges and make a major contribution to the economy. The Knowledge and Innovation Agenda Key Enabling Technologies expresses the joint ambition of all top sectors in the field of technology development. These Key Enabling Technologies have a wide range of applications and a major influence on innovations in various sectors. They fundamentally change the way we live, learn, innovate, work and produce and provide opportunities to solve problems in society.
Knowledge and Innovation Agenda Security
Holland High Tech coordinates the implementation of the Knowledge and Innovation Agenda Security. Within the Security theme, eight missions have been defined under the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Justice and Security, which require (applied) innovations. This was done in close collaboration with the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate, the top sectors, knowledge institutions and the business community. The overarching ambition is to always stay one step ahead of (potential) opponents: 'always ahead of the threat' with smart solutions in the service of a safe society.
International
Holland High Tech acts as an accelerator of the innovation process. Through collaboration in the innovation helix and the specific focus on Key Enabling Technologies, we create knowledge and solutions that contribute to valuable innovations at home and abroad. Dutch solutions for global issues.
Human Capital Agenda
Together with all other top sectors, we strive for sufficiently qualified employees who continue to learn, grow, manage and move along with technological innovations for a lifetime. Sufficient technical talent for our sector is an important precondition for continuing to contribute to the urgent transitions and the earning capacity of the Netherlands, now and in the future.
Learning communities
In a learning community, companies, educational institutions and knowledge institutions work closely together in the innovation helix. Learning, working and innovation are optimally connected. Innovations are therefore developed more quickly and also find their way more quickly into the practice of business and education. As top sectors, we further develop public-private partnerships with knowledge and tools. The ultimate goal is to sustainably strengthen the innovation capacity of our business community.
