Circular Real-time Sensing Platform for Battery Recycling and Digital Passports

CRiSP develops a smart sensing platform that analyses battery electrolytes in real time and generates Digital Product Passport data. It enables circular battery production, reduces raw material dependency, and supports the Dutch high-tech industry in transitioning to smart, sustainable, and internationally competitive manufacturing.

By linking advanced sensing with European Digital Product Passport standards, CRiSP ensures that recovered materials are not only technically usable but also regulatory compliant. Validated together with BOR-LYTE and Smart Industry testbeds, the project accelerates industrial adoption, strengthens Dutch leadership in circular manufacturing, and creates exportable solutions for Europe.
