Urgent letter: investing in National Growth Fund and the innovation climate of the Netherlands remains essential

11 March 2024

The innovation and entrepreneurial climate in the Netherlands is under pressure. Postponing the fourth round of the National Growth Fund risks undermining investments in innovation and damaging business confidence in government. A large group of companies and knowledge organizations stated this in an urgent letter, of which we are a co-signatory. In this letter we express our concerns about the innovative power and earning capacity of the Netherlands. In the urgent letter, initiated by the trade association of the digital sector NLdigital and the entrepreneurs' organization of the technology industry FME, we and more than 35 co-signatories emphasize that the government is not sufficiently aware that action is needed in the short term.
