The added value of robot applications is enormous. It contributes to solutions of societal challenges. Especially when work is dangerous, heavy or complex or when there is a shortage of manpower.
Robotics plays a role in all top sectors and combines a large number of key technologies, both for the hardware and the software. In the recently released roadmap by Holland Robotics, you can read more about the opportunities and challenges for robotics in five promising application areas: the manufacturing industry, logistics, inspection and maintenance, agrifood and health care.
