Holland High Tech and Regieorgaan SIA have launched a low-threshold subsidy scheme for 1-year research into high-tech issues from SMEs. With this scheme, SMEs can have researchers from universities of applied sciences, for example, join in on innovation projects.
This concerns projects that tie in with the following 9 innovation domains:
Optical systems en integrated photonics
Mechatronics en optomechatronics (inclusief o.a. robotica en 3d-printen)
Imaging technologies
Semiconductor technologies
Quantum technologies
Energy materials
AI en data science – in relatie tot hightech systemen / smart industry
Smart industry
Systems engineering
The grant applicants are research organisations. In addition to the applicant, the consortium consists of at least 2 practical partners, of which at least 1 is an SME established in the Netherlands. The grant is for researchers from the research institutions and is a maximum of €40,000 per project. There is a total budget of €2.7 million. This is expected to finance 67 projects.
