Holland High Tech and University of Twente are launching nine research and development projects
Holland High Tech is starting nine public-private research projects with the University of Twente. The investment amounts to 11.7 million in research ranging from innovations for the energy transition, semiconductor equipment, improved cancer diagnoses, personalized treatment for osteoarthritis patients to improved cybersecurity technologies. The projects, initiated through the Top Technology Twente program 'Connecting Industries', stimulate innovation and tackling industrial and social challenges.
The 9 projects are:
- Free Piston Stirling Cryocooler
- Data-Driven Analysis For Hybrid X-Ray Metrology (Dart)
- Microreator-Assisted Carbonation Of Olivine To Study Co2 Negative Building Materials (Mc02)
- Check Application Light (Cal)
- Accurate Real-Time Parameter Estimation For Instrumentation And Condition Monitoring
- High-Speed Immersion Lithography
- Increasing The Dynamic Load Capacity Of Electricity Cables (IDLEC)
- Photoacoustic-Enriched Transrectal Ultrasound Imaging For Improved Prostate Cancer Diagnosis
- Towards Precision Treatment For Advanced Osteoarthritis (Toptreat)
Within these projects, 18 PhD students and four postdoctoral researchers will have the opportunity to develop new technologies along our roadmaps Health, Semiconductor Machines, High Tech Materials, ICT, System Engineering, Smart Industry and Advanced Measuring Equipment.
