European Commission wants clearer liability rules around AI

The European Commission will clarify the regulations surrounding liability for damage or injury caused by digital technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI). It modernises existing regulations on liability when using digital and refurbished products. The committee also harmonises national regulations in the field of liability.
