Dutch high-tech delegation strengthens collaboration with Singapore in photonics and semiconductors
Integrated photonics, advanced packaging and semiconductors took centre stage this week in Singapore, during an innovation-driven mission for joint opportunities and collaboration in Southeast Asia.
The mission was organised by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), Netherlands Innovation Network Singapore and PhotonDelta, and marks a new highlight in what began in 2022 as an exploration of opportunities for Brabant in Singapore and the broader ASEAN region. Parallel to the mission, sixteen Dutch semiconductor companies presented themselves at SEMI SEA in the Holland Pavilion, organised by the Brabant Development Agency (BOM).
The presence of Minister of Economic Affairs Dirk Beljaarts underlined the strategic importance of collaboration between the Netherlands and Singapore. The mission focused on strengthening the international high-tech ecosystem, to jointly work on solutions for the digital and energy transition.
