118 million for 11 Dutch start-ups from the EIC Accelerator program
11 Dutch start-ups raise a total of €118 million in funding in the latest round of the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator programme. These include projects that combat viruses, improve quantum computers and produce circular raw materials. The programme is part of Horizon Europe, the overarching programme of the European Commission (EC) that aims to increase Europe's competitiveness by stimulating science and innovation.

The European Innovation Council (EIC) supports innovative companies: from fundamental research to start-ups and scale-ups. The EIC focuses on deep-tech innovations. The EIC Accelerator programme is part of this. This programme aims to help individual companies to further develop, scale up and market breakthrough innovations with a high risk and high impact.
