Holland High Tech pavilion at SEMICON Japan 2022
In partnership with the Netherlands Embassy in Tokyo, High Tech NL (cluster Semiconductors) is organizing the Holland High Tech pavilion at SEMICON Japan presenting the Netherlands Semiconductor Industry.
Japan has a strong semiconductor end market in the automotive and electronics sector. Japan also has a dominant industry for silicon wafers, manufacturing equipment and advanced materials, and is a leader in research for photonic-electronic conversion and others. Japan is proactively looking for international collaboration (e.g. FDI for TSMC R&D center and production facility in Japan).
The complete Semicon value chain in one country
The Netherlands is one of the few countries in the world to have a complete value chain within its borders. From applied research, design architecture, the production of chips and the equipment needed to make them, to system integration and actual applications. The Netherlands also has a large base of companies that supply equipment for the semicon manufacturing sector.
