Matchmaking event NWA call Theme: Storage and Conversion
On Wednesday 25 September NWO organises a matchmaking event for the NWA call Theme: Storage and Conversion. The scope of the call includes Design and characterisation of electrochemical cells that can operate under extreme conditions, system design and development. The purpose of the matchmaking event is to facilitate consortium forming.
Storage and conversion is the storage of renewable electricity in chemical compounds. This conversion is crucial in a sustainable energy system and requires far-reaching fundamental and applied knowledge in the area of Electrochemical Conversion & Materials (ECCM). The NWA programme above all aims to build bridges: between different scientific fields, between different forms of research (fundamental, applied, practice-oriented) and between diverse national and international knowledge agendas. Multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary in the broadest sense, an approach spanning the entire knowledge chain and cooperation with societal partners including Ministries, corporates, start-ups and NGOs are therefore crucial features of the consortia involved in NWA projects and programmes.
Who can apply
Proposals must be submitted by a consortium representing the broad knowledge chain.
What to apply for
A maximum of € 1.300.000 can be requested to finance personnel, material and investments. Proposals have a maximum duration of 6 years.
When to apply
Deadline for the submission of an application by the consortia is November 21st 2019.
